Our Member Memorial Monument is located at the corner of our parking lot located right off of Main St. in Mt. Carbon, PA. This location acts as a conerstone to our property, tieing all of our elements together in a unique and eyecatching manner.

The Monument is an all enclosed glass housing, built to display our Fire Department's 1st Apparatus, our late 1800's "Hose Cart." The idea came about when Larry Moore (president) felt the need to do something with this equipment that was used in the company's starting years and has so much history to it. Instead of leaving it collect dust Larry Moore, and Kyle Strokelitus(Trustee) came up with a layout and general plan for the monument. The overall idea for the monument was to build it in the most eye catching place we could, allowing the public to appreciate how far Fire Fighting in general has evolved over the past Century.

The Monument has three newly installed flag posts, and is surrounded by a leveled off platform encompassed by custom engraved landscaping pavers (custom to YOUR design). They are still available for purchase below. It is complete with a Glass housing sheltering two fire fighters dressed in 1800's fire gear and our late 1800's "Hose Cart". Accompanied to the housing is an Honor Roll Marquee used to Honor and remember our Founders of 1910, all Life Members that we have had the Privilege to call our Members over the years, and Present Active Memebers. The Marquee also holds the "Prayer of 9/11" and the "Fire Fighter's Prayer". The Monument was unveiled on September 11, 2010 on the day of our Grand Event.
