In 1942, Henry Larsen, a former teacher at the Pottsville High School,
purchased the company's 1942' Mack Rescue Engine with a 500gallon booster tank and a 250 GPM pump.
Through many trials and tribulations the members endured, they were finally able
to celebrate the holding of the title of their 42' Mack in 1967.
